Carbon Limits report published in the 4th Issue of the Carbon Mechanism Review

In the latest edition of Carbon Mechanisms Review (CMR), Randall Spalding-Fecher, François Sammut & James Ogunleye from Carbon Limits discuss the issue of whether CDM results-based financing (RBF) can support energy access businesses, the elements of successful business models for energy access, and whether CDM RBF can support these models directly or indirectly. It also assesses how to structure the incentive provided by the CDM, how to ensure reliable MRV and how to increase access to capital.
Carbon Mechanisms Review (CMR) is a specialist magazine on market mechanisms and related topics such as nationally appropriate mitigation actions (NAMAs) and emission trading schemes. Published quarterly by the Wuppertal Institute for Climate, Environment and Energy in electronic form, all articles undergo an editorial review process.
