Carbon Limits was approached by Stockholm Exergi to assess the net CO2 removals from the Värtan BECCS project. The comprehensive life cycle assessment was based on the latest version (1.0) of Methodology for measuring net carbon dioxide removal through bioenergy with carbon capture and storage (BECCS). Carbon Limits prepared a user-friendly, transparent, and documented Excel model for the calculation of net CO2 removal, following the above-mentioned methodology.
