Project description

The project seeks to support Russia in its aim to improve its inventory for black carbon emissions from the energy and industry sector and helps promote effective black carbon action plans for the region. The project involves the following activities:

• Review and comparison of the emission factors and emission estimation
• Evaluation of the emissions of black carbon in the Arctic based on Russian data.
• Capacity building on international best practices to reduce black carbon emissions
• Dissemination of results and awareness raising
