Project description

Carbon Limits, with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Norway, undertook an initiation study to identify opportunities for knowledge transfer and capacity building activities between experts in Norway and their counterparts in Turkmenistan.  The initiation study clarified the interest of key stakeholders in Turkmenistan and engaged them in discussion with the Norwegian experts on the possibilities of joint technical activities for assessment of cost-effective technical solutions for recovery and use of gas that is currently flared and reduction of loses of methane in the oil and gas sector.
