Improving Utilization of Associated Gas in US Tight Oil Fields

Project description

The study, financed by the Clean Air Task Force, aimed at providing a public report reviewing the feasibility of different options to reduce associated gas flaring from tight oil formation. The project assessed both qualitative and quantitatively the current flaring situation in key areas for tight oil production in US, and investigate associated gas utilization options, including technical, geographical, commercial and regulatory barriers.
