Project description

The aim of this project was to determine methane emissions from the oil and gas sector under different climate scenarios.

Carbon Limits modelized the trade flows of natural gas globally until 2050, and did a forecast of methane emissions along the oil and gas value chain depending on various scenarios of production and consumption of oil and gas globally and then assess the mitigation potential under the various scenario.
