Arturo received a Bachelors degree in Economics in Mexico City at the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México and then did a MSc in Economics in the University of Gothenburg and specialized in microeconomics and environmental economics.
In his master’s, he developed statistical skills for econometric modelling and did research on which behavioral components determine environmental attitudes. Before his masters he worked several years in the maritime industry in Mexico in port and terminal operations, mainly container and automotive handling. His experience lies within financial analysis, corporate strategy, and project valuation.
He spends his free time outdoors. If you don’t catch him running or climbing mountains, he’s probably in the gym bouldering. He also enjoys a cold beer and a nice meal. He always has space for food and can cook a thing or two.
