Marton served as an energy policy advisor to the Nordic Council of Ministers, and previously worked in a Danish engineering consultancy. He holds a Master’s degree in Environmental and Natural Resource Economics from the University of Copenhagen, and a diploma in Social Sciences from Sciences Po Paris. Marton is a Norwegian-American dual citizen and has lived in 5 countries on 3 continents. 

Fun fact: Marton met John Kerry (the 1st ) in the bathroom at COP27.
