Project description

The study, financed by IaDB/BID (InterAmerican Development Bank), aimed at reviewing different gas utilization options at an oil site in the Ecuadorian Oil region. The team reviewed the existing feasibility study and perform new techno-economic assessment of the options. The conclusion was to move on with the Virtual Pipeline (CNG Trucking) option. The team performed a techno-economic analysis of the different phases of the solution (gathering, transportation and unloading). It also reviewed different suppliers of equipment and participated in the HAZID analysis with the operator.
