Project description

In collaboration with other Calyx GHG Panel members, Carbon Limits developed a comprehensive, risk-based framework for assessing environmental integrity of voluntary carbon market standards, methodologies, and projects.

This framework includes criteria, indicators and scoring system across key risks such as additionality, over-crediting, non-permanence and double-counting, as well as analysis of the inherent risks of specific project types.

Included in our services- co-designing integrity assessment framework covering program standards and methodologies; applying framework for renewable power and cookstove methodologies; reviewing all crediting standard assessments; designing project-level assessment framework for wind, solar and hydropower projects, as well as applying this to multiple projects.
